June Meeting: Necklace Upcycling

Bring your broken and unused stringed items and beads (+ single ear rings are great) and Leila will help us create an upcycled necklace from our bits and bobs. Do bring any jewellery you no longer want to pop into the pot to swap and share too. Please note: Nearest station is Caledonian Road

About the Event
Bring your broken and unused jewellery along and Leila will help us find creative ways to mend and reuse them.
Items to bring:
Tray with towel or flannel (to use as a work surface).
Glasses if you need them :)
Old beads (all sizes, including tiny, no matter how many or few)
Beaded necklaces – including broken stringed items
Bring ones you don't like as well, to swap or share.
For focal points, should you want one:
Pendants single or multiples
Dangly earrings single or pairs, broken might work too
Smaller key chain.
In addition, if these are items you have:
beading string, round leather cord, waxed cotton or bits of chain.
Pliers (see image)
Narrow flat nose pliers (Needle nose pliers)
Round nose pliers
Fine wire cutters
