About the Event
Gilbert White was a writer, naturalist and clergyman, and is now recognised as the first ecologist. His book 'The Natural History of Selborne' (1789) has been in print since it was published more than 230 years ago - and he inspired naturalists from Charles Darwin to David Attenbourgh.
Our own wonderful and erudite Steph Holt https://www.nhm.ac.uk/our-science/people/stephanie-holt.html will share her passionate interest and research into the man and his legacy.
