About the Event
A female paramedic will cover how to recognise cardiac arrest, perform CPR and use a defibrillator, both in theory and practice.
London Ambulance Services are keen to promote simple lifesaving procedures, and give people the confidence to use them, and 'Bystanders can be Lifesavers' is one of this year's proposed WI resolutions (not least people can be reluctant to perform CPR on women because they have breasts). This is a great opportunity to learn some real life or death skills
